# CoverClicks

> CoverClicks tells a company which people on its own list have started job hunting again, and tells a job site which of its dormant users are active again across a network of job sites. People are identified only by the SHA-256 of the trimmed, lowercased email address; nothing returned names a site, a raw email, a date of activity or a hit count.

Two kinds of customer:
- Buyers (staffing firms, employers, lead buyers): upload a hashed list or connect an ATS/CRM, receive the people who are actively looking as a daily file, a signed real-time webhook, or on demand. ## Key facts
- Hash rule: sha256_hex(email.strip().lower()), 64 lowercase hex chars, no dot-stripping or plus-address removal.
- Buyer upload: POST https://portal.coverclicks.com/api/buyer/v1/dormant/upload, CSV body, header hashed_email (or email), optional external_id column (your own record id, returned on every match). Replaces the whole list. 20/hour, 800 MB.
- Buyer lookup: POST https://portal.coverclicks.com/api/buyer/v1/profile/lookup, {"hashed_emails":[...]} up to 100, 3,000 requests/min; a found match costs 1 match, a miss is free.
- Webhook: one POST per matched person, header X-CoverClicks-Signature = sha256=<HMAC-SHA256 of raw body with your signing secret>; answer 2xx within 10 s.
- Six signal fields everywhere: job_search_recency_days, job_search_intensity (low/medium/high), job_search_duration_days, cross_site_activity_count, dominant_occupation_cluster, other_occupation_clusters.
