CoverClicks API reference
Everything below is live today and is the same reference your dashboard shows after login. No sales call is needed to read it or to start: buyers get an API key the moment their account is approved, with the first 500 matches free.
Buyers
Upload a hashed list, receive the people who are job hunting again as a daily file or a real-time webhook, and look up any hashed email on demand.
- → List upload API
- → Daily match file
- → Real-time webhook
- → Profile lookup API
Publishers
Send the signals your site generates with one script tag or a server-to-server call, and receive interest data and reactivation signals back.
- → Pixel (script tag, Tag Manager)
- → Server-to-server events
- → Profile lookup API
- → Opt-outs
AI assistants and agents
Machine-readable API description, a plain-text summary, copy-paste upload and webhook scripts, and the rules an agent must keep.
- → openapi.json
- → llms.txt
- → Upload + webhook scripts
- → Example prompts
Activity reports and glossary
Monthly, citable figures on how many people are job hunting across the network, plus plain definitions of the terms behind the service.
- → Monthly job seeker activity report
- → Glossary: candidate reactivation
- → Job seeker intent signals
- → Hashed email matching
Three things every integration shares
- People are identified by a hash, never a raw email. Every API takes and returns the SHA-256 of the trimmed, lowercased email address as 64 lowercase hex characters. Hash on your side; we never see the address.
- Keys come from the dashboard. Buyers issue their own bearer key on the API key tab. Publishers get one key per property at approval.
- Nothing comes back that names a site. We return occupations, employers and job-search signals, never which publisher a person was seen on, hit counts or dates of activity.
