This Privacy Policy describes how CoverClicks ("CoverClicks," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our website, our network services, and the signal data infrastructure we operate for participating publishers and buyers.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you contact us through our website, request a demo, or sign up as a buyer or publisher, we collect the information you submit, including name, email address, company, role, and any message content.

Information we receive from publishers.When a consumer interacts with a publisher's site that participates in the CoverClicks network, the publisher transmits hashed identifiers (typically SHA-256 of normalized email) and event metadata to CoverClicks. We do not collect plaintext personally identifiable information through this signal flow. The privacy policies of the individual publishers govern the consumer's relationship with those publishers.

Information we receive from buyers. Buyers upload hashed identifier lists representing their existing customer or prospect databases. These lists are used solely for matching purposes and are not shared with publishers or other buyers.

Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we collect basic technical information when you visit coverclicks.com, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URL. We use cookies and similar technologies for site analytics and functionality.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the CoverClicks signal network
• Match publisher-side events against buyer-side hashed CRM lists and deliver matched signals to subscribed buyers
• Respond to inquiries, schedule demos, and communicate with prospective and current customers
• Monitor service performance, detect abuse, and improve our infrastructure
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

3. How we share information

With buyers.When a publisher event matches a buyer's subscribed hashed list, we deliver a signal payload to that buyer containing the event identifier, hashed consumer identifier, event type, timestamp, and publisher source label. We do not share the buyer's CRM list with any other party.

With service providers. We use third-party infrastructure providers (including Google Cloud, SendGrid, and Vercel) to operate our services. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or regulatory request, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of others.

In a business transfer. If CoverClicks is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell consumer information.

4. Consumer choice and rights

CoverClicks operates as a service provider to publishers and buyers. Consumers who wish to opt out of marketing communications should do so directly with the buyer or publisher with which they have a relationship. Opt-out requests we receive directly are propagated to all participating buyers within 24 hours.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws (for example, the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU General Data Protection Regulation), including the right to access, delete, or correct personal information about you. 5. Data retention

We retain hashed identifiers and event metadata for the period necessary to operate matching and reporting services, plus a reasonable audit trail period. Inquiry and contact-form data is retained for the period necessary to maintain ongoing customer relationships and respond to follow-up requests.

6. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we process, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and routine security review. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of any information we receive or transmit.

7. International transfers

CoverClicks is operated from the United States. If you are accessing our services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

8. Children

CoverClicks does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in other jurisdictions). If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, if the changes are material, provide additional notice through our website or by email.
