Candidate reactivation, explained
Candidate reactivation
Candidate reactivation is re-engaging people already in your applicant tracking system or CRM at the moment they start looking for work again, instead of buying new leads.
Job seeker intent signals
Job seeker intent signals are measurable indications that a specific person is actively looking for work right now: how recently, how intensely, for how long, on how many sites and in which job areas.
Dormant candidates
Dormant candidates are the people in an ATS, CRM or job-site database who have shown no activity for a long time, usually most of the database, and who become valuable again the day they start a new job search.
Hashed email matching
Hashed email matching compares one-way SHA-256 hashes of email addresses instead of the addresses themselves, so two parties can find the people they have in common without either side handing over its list.
Boomerang candidates
Boomerang candidates are former employees, placed contractors or past applicants who return to a company or staffing firm for a new role, and they are the cheapest hires most organizations never go looking for.
Job site audience reactivation
Job site audience reactivation is a job board or careers site learning which of its own inactive users are active again on other sites, so it can re-engage them while they are in the market.
