iCIMS + CoverClicks
iCIMS is an enterprise applicant tracking system used by large employers, including many hospital systems. Most of the people in iCIMS are not looking for work right now. Some of them started again last week, on other job sites, and nobody told you. CoverClicks finds those people by matching hashed email addresses against daily job-search activity across the network and returns six signals: how recently they searched, how intensely, for how long, on how many sites, and in which job areas. Your recruiters reach out to warm, known candidates first instead of buying new leads.
How it works
- Open the Integrations tab of your CoverClicks dashboard and connect your iCIMS account. The dashboard shows the exact steps for iCIMS.
- We pull each candidate's id and email, hash the email immediately, and keep only the hash plus your iCIMS record id.
- Every night we match the hashes against job-search activity. Each match comes back with your iCIMS record id and the six signal fields.
- We write a tag on the person or a custom field on the person onto the matched record in iCIMS, and the same match is available as a daily file, a real-time webhook and through Zapier, Make or n8n.
Raw email addresses never pass through CoverClicks. The match is on a one-way hash, and nothing we return names a job site, a date of activity or a hit count.
Questions
- What does CoverClicks read from iCIMS?
- Only two things per candidate: the iCIMS record id and the email address. The email is converted to a one-way hash the moment it arrives and the address itself is never stored. Names, resumes, notes and job history stay in iCIMS.
- What gets written into iCIMS?
- For each candidate who is job hunting again we add a tag on the person or a custom field on the person. It carries the match date, how recent and how intense the search is, how long it has been going, how many sites the person is active on, and the main job area. Nothing else on the record is changed.
- How long does setup take?
- Minutes. Open the Integrations tab of your CoverClicks dashboard, pick iCIMS, and follow the on-screen steps to connect your own iCIMS account. We test the connection on the spot and the first matches arrive the next morning.
- What does it cost?
- The first 500 matches are free. After that each delivered match is $0.15, with no contract and no platform or minimum fee. Only people seen job hunting in the last 30 days are delivered, and only they are charged.
- Can I switch it off?
- Yes. Pause or disconnect iCIMS from the dashboard at any time. Disconnecting deletes the credentials you gave us; the last list we pulled stays until you upload or connect again, and nothing further is written to iCIMS.
