Most of the people in JobAdder are not looking for work right now. Some of them started again last week, on other job sites, and nobody told you. CoverClicks finds those people by matching hashed email addresses against daily job-search activity across the network and returns six signals: how recently they searched, how intensely, for how long, on how many sites, and in which job areas. Your recruiters reach out to warm, known candidates first instead of buying new leads.
How it works
- Export your candidates from JobAdder with their record ids and upload the file from your dashboard, or script it with the list upload API.
- We pull each candidate's id and email, hash the email immediately, and keep only the hash plus your JobAdder record id.
- Every night we match the hashes against job-search activity. Each match comes back with your JobAdder record id and the six signal fields.
- The match arrives as a daily file, a real-time webhook or through Zapier, Make or n8n, carrying your JobAdder record id.
Raw email addresses never pass through CoverClicks. The match is on a one-way hash, and nothing we return names a job site, a date of activity or a hit count.
Questions
- What does CoverClicks read from JobAdder?
- Only two things per candidate: the JobAdder record id and the email address. The email is converted to a one-way hash the moment it arrives and the address itself is never stored. Names, resumes, notes and job history stay in JobAdder.
- What gets written into JobAdder?
- Nothing is written into JobAdder itself. Matches arrive as a daily file, a real-time webhook or through Zapier, Make or n8n, each carrying your JobAdder record id so you can act on the right record.
- How long does setup take?
- Today you connect JobAdder by exporting your candidates with their record ids and uploading the file (or automating that with our list upload API). A direct connection is available on request. Matches arrive the next morning either way.
- What does it cost?
- The first 500 matches are free. After that each delivered match is $0.15, with no contract and no platform or minimum fee. Only people seen job hunting in the last 30 days are delivered, and only they are charged.
- Can I switch it off?
- Yes. Pause or disconnect JobAdder from the dashboard at any time. Disconnecting deletes the credentials you gave us; the last list we pulled stays until you upload or connect again, and nothing further is written to JobAdder.
